POWER PLANTS
Power plants are fascinating, cathedral like buildings, full of ingenious technology and huge machinery, not to mention the colours! Sometimes it felt like being on an surrealistic journey in space...
I have covered about seven of them, the most recent and advanced ever build in Belgium, all of them running on natural gas, so called STEG, for Electrabel and SPE.
Most of these pictures are shot on 4”x5” slide-film and using a full studio flash equipment because light is so important.
Here you see a handful pictures selected out of a vast collection I cherish in my archives.
